Some views of natural landscape in Serbia

by Victor Grigore, Webphoto.ro

In the Dinaric Mountain chain, right in the heart of Serbia, a biosphere reservation is found, in the Golija Mountain. It is an untouched green area of hills, forests, pastures and meadows. The road between Ivanjica and Duga Poljana, followed by the town of Novi Pazar, is terrible for a regular car, more suitable for an off-road vehicle. For many miles you don’t encounter any village, just recluse shepherds and woodmen.
Further to the north there is another protected area, where Studenica, the most important Serbian monastery is found.
