Luxurious furniture and jewelry presentation
Luxury Show was an opportunity to see various limited edition items, from cars with leather and rare wood interior, unique furniture, yachts and motorcycles. The event included several presentations such as a jewelry presentation.
Celebrities were also invited to attend, among them princess Margareta and socialite Irinel and Moni Columbeanu.
The jewelries were created by Adorni, Korloff, Royal Diamond and Oana Mizil – Deverro. Oana Mizil created a necklace for the wedding of the queen of Qatar, estimated at 1,480.000 euro. Another jewelry was bought during the fair for 980,000 euro.
The collection Heidi Klum Mouawad, presented by Royal Diamonds, also gathered some 11,000 euro. The colection is inspired by the famous top-model, with a clover motif. The total price of jewelries sold during the exhibition toped a million dollars.
The total products sold during this edition is estimated around 13.4 mil euro. Most of this sum came from boats (8.5 mil.), cars (3.3 mil.) with brands like Bentley and Maybach, which cost half of million each, jewelries (1 mil.) and furniture (383,000).
The 2007 edition, held in December, also aimed to be a charity edition by the association of Princess Margareta’s Foundation who is to be the patron of an auction aimed to support talented young people.
Among the auctioned objects in the first evening there is a ball signed by the players of Romanian National soccer team, a Tibetan engraved stone brought by explorer Uca Maria Marinescu, a unique necklace made of ebony and diamonds, the Omega watch received by athlete Gabriela Szabo when elected „athlete of the year”, an evening wardrobe by Catalin Botezatu, a horse and a silver trophy owned by Prince Nicholas. The money raised will support 30-40 talented young people from the field of sport, art or literature.
In the special evenings during the exhibition will be concerts with: Felicia Filip, Bogdan Bradu, Petre Geambasu, Rufus Martin si Quantum Lips. Fashion presentations of Catalin Botezatu, Adorri, Korloff, Royal Diamond and Deverra will also be held. At the official opening, spoke George Cojocaru, General Manager of ROMEXPO and special guest, Princess Margareta.
Mr George Cojocaru said: „They say the ones who know how to be generous during their life-time are forever rich; during this exposition we will show you that there are a lot of millionaires with rich hearts in Romania. It is an honor for us to host this charitable auction, a way to show we are human and that we care”
Those who will visit ROMEXPO during Luxury Show will also see Versace carpets, bead lingerie with Swarowski crystals, golden mobile phones, exclusivist spas, diamond pens and Valentino or Gucci books.
The legendary Harley Davidson, which is present in Romania with a showroom starting the fall of 2007, will present motorcycles, among which a limited edition Road King, created for the 105’th anniversary of the company.
Among the brands present at Luxury Show there are: Maybach, Mercedes Benz, Bose, Versace, Infinity, Cadillac, Subaru, Corvette, Harley Davidson, Porche, Ferrari, Motorola, Valentino, Gucci, Jaguar, Hummer, etc.
